Carolina star headed to the Islands

Is he or isn’t he committed to Hawaii? That is the question looming for three star running back speedster Andrew Pearman (5-9, 165, 4.3) from Charlotte (N.C.) Providence. According to The Honolulu Star/Bulletin Pearman will attend Hawaii, but according to his Mom, Pearman has not made a decision.
That is how it goes in the wacky world of college recruiting, especially now that NLI day is fast approaching and another season of recruiting comes to a close.

According to the Star/Bulletin Pearman committed to June Jones on Saturday and the paper even has a quote attributed to Pearman.
“Hawaii is the right fit for me,” Pearman told Steve Reardon of the Star/Bulletin.
Pearman’s Mother has other ideas. She has been quoted as saying something to the effect her son is having a great time but that he has not committed nor would he commit anywhere until he came home and discussed the decision with the family.
Warrior fans feel pretty good about the commitment, but until Hawaii gets Pearman’s signature on a NLI there will be anxious moments.
Pearman has been timed electronically in the 100-meter at 10.3.
Pearman is rated by Rivals.com as the nation’s number 11 all-purpose back. He is also a member of the Rivals.com Atlantic East Amazing 80 team landing as the region’s number 62.
The talented Pearman was also named by Rivals.com to the North Carolina Top 25 team for the class of 2004 as the state’s number 14 prospect at any position.
