Carolina linebacker getting looks

While he's still waiting on his first scholarship offer, Spartanburg (S.C.) Broome linebacker/defensive end Antwane Glenn is getting increased interest from a number of college programs.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder has seen a host of college coaches come through his school during the May evaluation period.

"Duke, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Florida State and Virginia all came by the school," Glenn said. "There were some more schools, too, but I can't remember them all."
Glenn feels that the Hokies, Tigers and Blue Devils, along with the Yellow Jackets, are close to offering him.
Glenn, the Defensive Most Valuable Player of the 2004 South Carolina Class 2A state title game, says that most programs are looking at him at for a number of positions.
"My coach told me that they are looking at me at linebacker, defensive line or at tight end," Glenn said.
Glenn has several goals set for the coming season.
"I'd like for our team to beat York and Newberry and go to the state championship game," he said. "I'd also like to make the Shrine Bowl team."
Glenn had 98 tackles (14 for loss) and five sacks in 2005 and will attend the Clemson NIKE Camp this Sunday.
