Carolina LB opens up recruiting

Durham (N.C.) Northern linebacker Chase Bullock was supposed to take an unofficial visit to UVA this weekend and possibly commit if he liked what he saw? So how did it go?
"I didn't make it there for my visit because I injured my groin Friday in our game," said the 6-foot-3, 215-pounder. "I really wanted to go too, but I couldn't."

Bullock's team still won 40-6 to improve their record to 8-1 this season. So what will he do now regarding recruiting?
"I'm going to take a few visits and decide from there," he said. "I talked to coaches from Maryland, South Carolina, Georgia Tech and Clemson this week and they've all offered me. I still like UVA a lot, but it's pretty much even between Virginia, Maryland and South Carolina right now.
"I go to Maryland for Dec. 5, UVA is now Dec. 12 and South Carolina will be before or after those. Our team might make the state championship and I also might have the Shrine Bowl, so I don't know when I'll decide for sure."
Bullock is ranked as the No. 32 outside linebacker in the country by Rivals.com.
