Carolina CB enjoys visit to Kent

Greenville (N.C.) J.H. Rose cornerback Josiah Andrews took his first official visit of the season this past weekend. The 5-foot-10, 170-pounder made the trek to Kent State. What did Andrews think about the Golden Flashes?
"The visit went well, it seems like a good place," he said. "I got out there Friday around four and basically hung out with some of the players in the dorm and chilled out."

Andrews was hosted on the trip by Leneric Muldrow.
"It was fun hanging out with him, he made the visit," he said. "He told me mostly that this was the time to hop on the Kent bandwagon because they're bringing in a lot of good recruits and are going to be a good team."
As for the coaches, the North Carolina prospect met with head coach Doug Martin.
"He seemed like a great coach that knows what he's talking about," he said. "He did talk about the fact my offer won't be there forever and gave me until Wednesday to decide."
Overall Andrews rated the trip a seven or eight.
"I like it over there, but I don't know if I want to commit yet. I do understand where coach Martin is coming from though."
Andrews has an official visit set with Westrn Carolina for Feb. 2 and also has a Temple offer.
