Carney impressed with SMU visit
Dallas Jesuit two-star weakside defensive end Sean Carney didn’t have to go far this weekend for his official visit. Carney stayed close to home and took an official visit to SMU. It was a visit that put the Ponies in even better position to land him.
“I’m going go visit Tulane next weekend and then after that I’m going to make up my mind,” Carney, who is 6-foot-2 and 233 pounds, said. “I really enjoyed everything about my visit to SMU. They’re right up there.

“The coaches, the players and the people were really great. I liked everything about the visit.”
Carney, who has offers from SMU, Baylor, Wyoming, Louisiana-Monroe, Rice and Tulane, earned all-area honors as a junior and a senior.
