Carnegie making plans

Novi, Mich., wide receiver and cornerback Brandon Carnegie says he is going to head south for one of the NIKE Football Training Camps and also plans to attend a number of 1-day college camps.
"I'm going to the NIKE Camp at South Carolina May 21," Carnegie said. "Ohio State, Ball State, Northwestern, Indiana, and Vanderbilt, those are the 1-day camps I'm going to."

Recruiters have been making their way to Novi to check on Carnegie.
"Ball State came out," he said. "Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan have been out. And some others too.
"I talked to a Stanford coach. He called. And Notre Dame called once."
Carnegie is open minded and will listen to everyone in contact.
"I'm interested in any Big Ten and MAC school," Carnegie said. "I'll consider everyone. The only two schools I've been to are Michigan and Purdue."
The 5-foot-10 and 163-pound Carnegie caught 42 passes and scored six times through the air during his junior season. He also rushed for a touchdown and intercepted two passes.
"Wide receiver or cornerback, it doesn't matter to me," Carnegie said. "Whichever one gets me on the field the fastest in college."
