Carimi has Big Ten offer

Monona Grove offensive lineman Gabe Carimi, one of the top prospects in the state of Wisconsin, helped lead his team to a 13-1 record during his junior season. The 6-foot-7, 268 pounder was a force at offensive tackle, and also started at defensive end during the playoffs.
But it's his offensive talents recruiters are the most interested in.

"Indiana offered me a scholarship," Carimi said. "And I'm interested in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Nebraska. All of them have been contacting me."
Speaking during a lull in the activities at Michigan's football camp, Carimi said he will also stop in at a couple of other camps.
"I'm going to Michigan State's camp too. They called and said to stop by while I'm in Michigan. And I'm going to Wisconsin's camp Sunday."
While Carimi said he doesn't have a leader, he did talk about his home state school.
"Wisconsin is close to home and I like the campus and the facilities. I've been a Badger fan my whole life."
