Cards close to verbal from KYs top DL

The Bluegrass State’s top-rated defensive lineman says he’s close to making his college decision.
“Louisville says they’re going to offer me a scholarship as soon as I get my ACT score,” said Louisville Eastern defensive tackle Myron Pryor. “That’s where I’ll probably go, more than likely.

“I think they’re going to be a real strong team for the future, and I’ve always liked Louisville since I was a little kid. Plus, it’s right here close to home. It’s only 10 minutes from our house.”
Pryor (6-1, 300, 5.0) currently has two offers, Kentucky and Indiana. He’s also receiving attention from Boston College, Michigan State, Cincinnati, Illinois, Western Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky.
Asked what it would take to overcome the Cardinals’ big lead at this point, Pryor said: “I guess it would be how my official visits go. I’m going to visit Indiana and Kentucky for sure. If I feel good about their coaches and players, it could help. But I really like Louisville’s coaching staff. It would take a lot.”
Despite constant double- and triple-teams from opposing offenses, Pryor has still managed to chalk up 25 tackles and six sacks this season. He’s a physically imposing player who boasts a 375 bench, 550 squat and a state-record 690 dead lift.
He maintains a 2.7 GPA and is awaiting his latest test scores.
