Capers is sitting on one offer
With the season quickly approaching, Norfolk (Va.) Booker T. Washington cornerback Donte Capers is ready to hit the field again. With regards to recruiting, the 5-foot-8, 171-pounder continues to sit on one scholarship, but has other schools interested.
"I'm preparing for our first game on Thursday against Western Branch," he said. "I'm very confident, we know we have the talent and everything. We're just looking to come out strong."

Capers continues to hold an offer from Louisville, but who else is eyeing him?
"It's been a little quiet," he said. "I am hearing from Miami (Ohio), James Madison, Old Dominion and Marshall. They are all just showing interest."
Capers hasn't taken a visit since camps, but maintains he is staying in regular contact with his lone offer.
"I try to call Louisville about once every week," he said. "Everything is going well with them. They told me they plan to come see me play soon."
