Canyons safety has three Pac 10 offers

With at least five other Division I prospects on the defensive side of the ball some times guys like safety Troy Nolan get over looked at College of the Canyons. But the college coaches certainly haven't overlooked him. The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder has three Pac 10 offers and is quickly becoming a very hot target.
"I have offers from Arizona, Arizona State and Oregon State," Nolan said.

"I'm also talking a lot to Kansas and Missouri about a visit. I think Missouri is closest to offering me in that other group. I also talk to a bunch of D-II schools and Nevada-Reno.
"I'm really started to get excited about the recruiting process. I'm taking my first visit to Arizona State on December 16, so you'll never know what's going to happen. I'm high on Arizona State. They were the first to offer me, and coach Dan Fidler is a good guy to talk to."
Nolan was a full qualifier out of high school and is set to graduate in December. He has three years to play two seasons and has become a force for COC.
"I'm a big-hitter," Nolan said. "I had 44 tackles before last week's game. I've played well all year long, and I've more than lived up to my expectations. I've kept working hard and now I have a bunch of teams chasing after me. It's a neat feeling."
