Cannon set to see New Mexico

Valrico (Fla.) Durant offensive lineman Michael Cannon is set for his second official visit and has recently made a change to his visit schedule.
The 6-foot-5, 280-pounder will visit Albuquerque, N.M, this weekend to check out the University of New Mexico.

"New Mexico was the first school to show interest," Cannon said. "I am excited about going out there."
Lobos cornerbacks coach Troy Reffett is Cannon's New Mexico recruiter.
Cannon previously visited Akron and called them his leader. He has since stated that he is more open than in the past.
"Akron is a little cold, but their facilities are nice," he said. "I really liked their indoor practice facility and liked their players.
"It's the only school I've been to so far, but I like what all of these schools have to offer."
Cannon also has canceled a planned trip to Army for the weekend of Jan. 27 and scheduled a trip to Louisiana-Lafayette. The Ragin Cajuns recently extended Cannon a scholarship offer. Brian Cist is recruiting Cannon for UL-L.
