Cannon likes one, wants more

One Big 12 offer for offensive tackle Marcus Cannon of Odessa (Texas) and the sleeper lineman wants to see a few more.
At 6-foot-4, 287 pounds, the big-framed Cannon surely has the frame for a Division I lineman, now he just wants to see other colleges agree. Iowa State was the first school to garner an offer for Cannon, but others may be close behind.

"LSU has sent a few things and Colorado sent me some stuff that said for me to call them," Cannon said. "Texas A&M seems real interested. The coach told me that I have a great chance to get offered but I just need to send in the first two games of this season."
His decision will come at the end of the season. Right now he is thinking about where he wants to go in the fall.
"I don't know about my schedule yet, but if I've got time with other sports I'm in, I'll take them," Cannon said. "I want to take all of them if it is possible."
As for his lone offer, Cannon feels pretty good about what the Cyclones give him as an option.
"I'm happy with the offer," Cannon said about Iowa State. "I know that I have a chance to go to college and even if no one else does, that's a pretty good one to have."
