Canfield set to make pick

Lansing (Mich.) Everett dual-threat quarterback Mike Canfield has flirted with a decision over the past month. However, it appears the wait will finally come to an end this week for the two-star athlete. While the final two are set, but not even Canfield is 100-percent sure who his selection will be.
"I'm making my decision Tuesday," Canfield said. "It's either going to be Northern Illinois or Central Michigan. Right now I have a clue of who I'll be picking, but I'm not convinced of it yet."

He will be making his decision at school with an open invitation to the local newspaper as well as the local press. Canfield knows it is going to be a tough decision, but he feels he will be able to make the right one.
"I can have good playing time at both schools," he said. "I can play early in my career. They both have nice atmospheres with great education programs. There was a different in the two atmospheres, though. Two different types of social lives, which is a big thing."
Canfield admits playing time will play a key role in his final decision, but maintains feeling comfortable on campus will ultimately direct his decision.
He will make his decision early Tuesday morning.
