The Miami Hurricanes have landed one of the top players in the Class of 2004.
Five-star Miami (Fla.) Carol City linebacker Willie Williams announced his decision in a press conference at his high school today, picking the Hurricanes over Florida State.
The No. 6 player overall on the Rivals100 Team, Williams (6-2, 225, 4.42) recorded 83 tackles, 18 sacks and five forced fumbles despite missing the first few games of his senior season waiting on an eligibility ruling from the state athletics association.
He gives the Canes a third five-star player, joining Texas wideout Lance Leggett and Pennsylvania offensive lineman Tyler McMeans.
