Canes ready to offer Franks

As if things couldn't get any sweeter for defensive back Dominique Franks of Tulsa (Okla.) Union, a special school made their way to his high school this past week.
All along with offers from Tennessee, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Kansas State, Colorado, Arizona State among others coming at a record pace, Franks still mentioned he'd like to hear from the Miami Hurricanes – a school he grew up watching. An offer may be close for the No. 6 rated prospect in Oklahoma after the trip.

"They just came up, talked to my coach but I didn't really get a chance to see them to talk with them," Franks said. "After their recruiting trip, they said they would let us know if an offer was coming or not."
"My coach said it was looking good."
Previously, Franks had mentioned that if Miami were to offer he would think about pulling the trigger right then. However, after speaking with his mom about the possibility of an offer coming his way, he has a plan.
"It would change things a little bit, yes, but I plan on just going down there for an unofficial trip after that and then see how it is there," Franks said. "My top two right now are Tennessee and Nebraska but if Miami were to offer it would probably have them tied with Tennessee for No. 1."
Colorado, Arizona State, and Baylor are also schools that Franks is listing high on his list. Franks plans on waiting through the summer at the earliest before making a decision.
