Canes offer Ga. LB

Tyrone Cornelius is a linebacker prospect from Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson High School and he's gaining momentum in recruiting. Today, Cornelius picked up his fourth scholarship offer. This one was from Miami.
"Miami offered me on Thursday," Cornelius said. "I kind of knew before because my dad talked with them. I was kind of surprised they did offer early though. I like the school itself because you can get a great education. Miami has a winning tradition. They also play fast. Miami gets their players in the NFL. This is one school I will be looking at big time."

Georgia Tech, Auburn and South Carolina had previously offered Cornelius. He recorded 118 tackles, three interceptions (one returned for TD), two caused fumbles (one returned for TD), one blocked punt, three safeties, 12 tackles for a loss, and four sacks in 2008.
Cornelius plans on attending spring football practices at Georgia Tech and South Carolina and attend the Miami spring game (March 28th).
