Canes and Cats at top for Ford

Miami (Fla.) Northwestern cornerback Trevor Ford took his second official visit of the season this weekend.
“My visit to Kansas State went real good,” the 6-foot-1, 187-pound Ford said. “The whole thing was good. Nothing in particular really stands out. Just overall, it was good.”

Ford, who visited Indiana last weekend, will visit Florida State, Georgia and Miami in January.
“I want to take those three visits before a decision will be made,” he said. “Right now, Miami and Kansas State are my top two schools. I really liked what I saw this weekend.”
Ford finished the 2003 season with 48 tackles, five interceptions and 11 pass break ups. He was also chosen to represent Florida in the Cali-Florida All-Star game.
