Can State hold on to Magnolia WR

Things seem to be lined up pretty well for Mississippi State to land a commitment from one of its local prospects, but Starkville High School standout Antonio McCoy says he’s not ready to pull the trigger just yet.
“I’ve always liked Mississippi State and all, but I haven’t been a diehard fan or anything,” he said. “So I’m still looking at a few other schools, waiting to see if they’ll offer.”

Such as?
“Auburn for one,” he said. “And Ole Miss, too. I like those two programs. I think they’ve got some real nice coaches, and I’d like to play in the SEC.”
McCoy (6-1, 170, 4.5) says MSU, Ole Miss, Southern Miss and Memphis have given him the most attention thus far.
Asked what will be the key factors in his final decision, he said: “The surroundings of the school, the academics, and how I relate to the coaches. I’d also like to go somewhere where they always have a winning record.”
Does MSU meet some of that criteria?
"Yes," he said. "I'm just going to take my time, though."
Academically, McCoy maintains a 2.8 GPA and has scored a 22 on the ACT.
