Campbell picks Maryland

Last weekend four-star offensive tackle Bruce Campbell out of New Haven (Conn.) Hyde Leadership took his fourth and final official visit to his leader Maryland. What caused the 6-foot-7, 272-pounder committed to Ralph Friedgen and the Terrapins on his visit?
"He is definitely going to Maryland," said Hyde head coach John Acquavita. "The main reasoning behind him going there was that they've been involved with him the longest and they were committed to him.

"The other schools including Michigan State, Nebraska and Virginia really weren't as much and that was the main difference for him."
The No. 1 player in New England is still working to qualify at this time.
Campbell is a member of the Rivals250 and rated the No. 20 offensive tackle in the country.
