Campbell noticing more attention

Austin, Texas running back Tyler Campbell has worked hard to prove he is worthy of Division I-A scholarship offers. Now that the season is here, schools are starting to make some contact.
“I’ve gotten a few calls already,” the 6-foot-1, 182-pound Campbell said. “Kansas, Baylor and San Diego State have called. I’ve had a good talk with each of them. I’ve learned a little more about each of those schools.”

Campbell is currently holding scholarship offers from San Diego State and Baylor. He is also receiving attention from Notre Dame, LSU, Arizona and Misouri.
“The two schools that have offered obviously have shown me they really want me,” he said. “I’m looking for a place that would be a good fit for me and a place that I feel comfortable. I want it to be a good situation for me.”
Campbell is not rushing into a decision.
“I will more than likely wait until our season is over to start taking visits,” he said. “I would guess I will take a visit to San Diego State for sure. We’ll see what comes up between now and then.”
