Lake Highlands, Texas linebacker Jeremy Campbell has several schools he could choose from, but don’t expect a quick decision.
“I have several scholarship offers,” the 6-foot-2, 215-pound Campbell said. “But, I’m not ready to make any decisions, yet.”
The list of scholarship offers include offers from Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Texas, Michigan State and Arkansas.
“This whole process has been going well. I want to focus on football this fall, then take my visits and get a good look at the schools. Then I will try and make a decision.”
Campbell recently returned from the Texas camp, the first of two scheduled camps.
“I had a good time at the Texas camp. I learned some stuff from the drills we went through. I got to talk to the coaches a little bit. I’ve got the Texas A&M camp this weekend. That’s the last one I have scheduled at this time.”
Early on, Campbell listed Texas as his favorite among the schools recruiting him. Now, he lists a top five, rather than a top school.
“I would have to say the top five schools on my list right now would be Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Kansas State and Arkansas. I know things can change, but right now, that would be the group of schools at the top.”
