In July he named a top four of Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, and Alabama, but he is now considering all of his college options.
"I don't even have a top four right now," Campbell said. "When I take all of these visits and stuff I'm going to try and narrow it all down then. Right now I'm really open to everybody."
He was planning to take his first official visit to Oklahoma this weekend, but it appears he will have to reschedule his trip.
"I might not be able to take that one because I haven't taken the ACT yet and they need my ACT score,' Campbell said. "I'll probably reschedule that one and take it in late October or early November."
He is scheduled to take his ACT on October 25.
While he may not be able to take his official visit to Oklahoma over the weekend he may find his way to another college campus.
"I might try to make it down to Oxford for their home game this weekend," Campbell said.
He has already taken one unofficial visit this season, when he made a visit to Starkville with his girlfriend for the Bulldogs' home opener.
"Oh man them boys showed out 49-0," Campbell said. "They showed out, especially on defense. I was really impressed with the defense. Especially the defensive line, they did a good job up there man."
When it comes to his official visits, Campbell plans to use them to check out schools further away such as Oklahoma, Cal, Kentucky, and Louisville. He already has an idea about two schools he would like to visit.
"Oklahoma for sure, and Cal," Campbell said. "I haven't set up the one to Cal yet, but I know Oklahoma is getting one."
Campbell currently holds offers from Alabama, Alcorn State, Arkansas, Cal, Kentucky, Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisville, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Oklahoma, while all of them are recruiting him hard he mentioned Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Cal as schools showing him the most attention.
He is currently playing offensive tackle and defensive end for Yazoo City, who is 2-0 on the 2014 football season. As a junior in 2013 he recorded 31 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, and two pass break-ups. He is currently ranked No. 23 among the nation's strongside defensive ends and No. 6 in the Rivals.com Mississippi Preseason Top 25.
