Camilli closer to decision

Jeff Camilli had a great visit to Fresno State this weekend and the Shingle Springs (Calif.) Ponderosa inside linebacker is close to a decision.
Washington State was the favorite after Camilli visited there in November but Fresno State has taken over the top spot and the Bulldogs look exceptionally close to landing his commitment.

"I loved it," Camilli said. "I might have found my new home there.
"I loved it there. All the guys were great, the area was nice and the coaches are great guys.
"The players were just fun guys to hang around with. It was a good group of guys I was with and I liked seeing where that program is going already. It's only been one year under that coaching staff and they're going to a bowl game so they're only going to get better."
Fresno State and Washington State are the two finalists for Camilli, a 6-foot-4, 245-pound recruit who also has offers from Colorado State, Nevada and San Jose State.
The plan for the Shingle Springs Ponderosa standout is to return home from his visit, take a few days to consider all his options and then make his decision.
It could come as early as mid-week and Fresno State is the clear frontrunner especially after his trip.
"I'm going home, going to let it sink in for a couple days and I will probably make my decision in the middle of the week," Camilli said.
