Calvin adds offers

Frisco (Texas) Centennial cornerback Cydney Calvin has emerged as a top priority target for college coaches. Colorado State, New Mexico, Wake Forest, UTSA, and Sam Houston State were among the first offers to be placed on the table, and TCU and Idaho were recently added to the list.
The 6-1, 175-pound defender took his first visit to New Mexico (January 11) and last weekend was in North Carolina to check out the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (January 18).

"It was really good. I liked it a lot," Calvin said of his visit to Wake Forest. "The coaches and the staff were like family."
This weekend he will hit the road once again this time for an official visit to TCU. The Horned Frogs are a familiar program with Centennial teammate Ranthony Texada already pledged to the Horned Frogs.
"He's just been like I have your back 100-percent and wherever you go I'm going to support you," Calvin said of Texada. "He's just a great guy. He supports me and he's there for me."
Calvin has also seen interest pick up from Oklahoma State, and it this time in the recruiting process he is not naming favorites and keeping his options open.
"I'm just taking it all in," Calvin said. "I'm enjoying it."
When does he think he will have a decision?
"I'm not sure yet," Calvin said.
