Calls pouring in for Georgia RB

Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson running back Andre Anderson picked up an offer from Georgia Tech early in the process, only to go on a dry spell for quite sometime. The second offer has come in and more appear to be on the way.
"I have gotten calls from Georgia Tech, Tulane, Boston College, Stanford, Purdue and Central Michigan," Anderson said. "Ball State has offered me now in addition to Georgia Tech and Stanford. Purdue told me that they were going to offer me, but I have not seen anything in writing yet."

Anderson attended the Athens NIKE camp in May where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds, the shuttle in four seconds and posted a 33-inch vertical jump.
"I had a chance to go to the Georgia Tech-North Carolina game last weekend," Anderson said. "I got there late so I didn't get to talk to coach Gailey, but I did get to see the locker room and talk to a few of the players like P.J. Daniels, that was a big highlight for me."
As a junior Anderson carried the ball 158 times for 1,042 yards and seven touchdowns. He averaged 6.6 yards per carry.
"Georgia Tech, Boston College, Purdue, Stanford and Michigan are my top five right now," Anderson said. "If I had to sign today it would be Georgia Tech, but today is not signing day so obviously things can still change. I really like the city of Atlanta, I could go in there and play early and I think they have great academics there. YOu could pretty much go anywhere and get a job with a degree from Georgia Tech."
