Calloway to wait on decision

Tere Calloway has steadily been landing offers this off-season but the Seattle (Wash.) Seattle Prep cornerback is not ready to narrow his list yet.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound three-star prospect said he wants to wait until later in the summer to see which offers come in and then figure out his official visits. Calloway said he doesn't plan to make his commitment until after his senior season.

"I'm still sitting back right now because I'm still talking to a lot of schools so I just want to see what other offers come in and then in July or August I'll start narrowing things down," Calloway said. "I think I'll decide after the season."
Colorado, Idaho, Memphis, Nevada, Portland State, Purdue, San Diego State, SMU and Wyoming have offered Calloway, who looked good at the New Level Athletics Elite 7on7 in Las Vegas earlier this off-season.
Calloway said he has promised Purdue an official visit and he could take all five trips before making his decision.
"I plan to take all five official visits but I'm not sure how that will work out," Calloway said.
Another reason why Calloway plans to wait is because some major programs are showing interest.
Texas Tech, Central Florida, Washington State, Oregon State and Washington remain in touch so the Seattle Prep recruit just wants to remain patient and see what transpires in the coming months.
"It's not just those schools," Calloway said.
"I'm just trying to sit back and see which offers I can get. I'm not waiting on a particular school to offer. I just want to see all the ones I can get by the summer. Then I'll probably start narrowing down."
