Callahan to play football and baseball
Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep linebacker Brian Callahan picked up early offers from schools including Louisville and Rutgers, but throughout the process the 6-foot-3, 200-pounder has been debating between playing football or baseball. With Signing Day upon us, has he finally come to a conclusion?
"He isn't planning on committing anywhere tomorrow," said Callahan's mom, who didn't want to be revealed. "He's trying to look for a school that will let him play both sports and right now it's looking like Monmouth is the only one, but we've got a few more days before we make a decision.

"We've already talked to a few schools including Northeastern and Rutgers and both have said he can't play two sports. So we plan to wait to hear from more baseball schools."
Callahan expects to make a decision sometime next week.
"This whole process has been very stressful, but we've got to take a couple more visits before deciding and because he wants to play baseball we've got some extra time to do that," she said. "We still want to go to a few schools including Stony Brook and others."
