El Dorado Hills (Calif.) Oak Ridge wide receiver Austin Collie recently picked up his third scholarship offer.

“A scholarship offer from Colorado came the other day via FedEx,” the 6-foot-1, 180-pound Collie said. “They are the third school after Stanford and Washington State.
“Colorado is really a new school to the mix for me. I know they are in Boulder. That is about all I really know about them. I want to get out there and see them for sure.”
The offer from Gary Barnett’s staff has pushed the Buffs into the top two on Collie’s list.
“Stanford and Colorado are my top two schools. Washington State and Brigham Young are up there too.”
Collie’s brother currently plays for BYU and his father is a former member of the Cougar football squad.
“Nobody is pressuring me to go there. My brother and I haven’t talked about it much. He is limited as to how much he can talk to me about BYU. But, I already know quite a bit about the school.”
Collie plans on three camps at this point.
“I’m going to the 2000 and Beyond camp at Fullerton. And I will go to BYU’s camp. Then our team is going to the UNLV team camp. That’s all I have on the calendar right now.”
Collie would like to have a decision before summer is over, but won’t rush it just to get it done.
“My intentions are to get it done before school starts. I’d like to go into the fall without worrying about it. But I’m not going to rush into a decision just to have one done. I’ll wait and do it later if I need to.”
