California TE lines up trip No. 1
Tight end Matt Traverso of Sacramento Christian Brothers has lined up his first official visit and is getting calls from some new national powers.
"I'm going to visit Arizona on October 5," Traverso said. "I also got a call this past week from Florida and Miami. Florida called me for the first time yesterday. They had been only sending mail, but they said they are very interested in me now."

Arizona, Florida, Miami, Stanford, UCLA and Illinois are the teams on top of his list. He has offers from Arizona, UCLA and Illinois.
"I really don't have a top team," Traverso said. "They're all pretty much tied. The thing about Arizona that I like is that coach Long is a great guy. He's really down to earth."
In a 34-0 victory last Friday night, Traverso had three catches for 45 yards. He also caused a fumble on defense and ran it back for a score.
