California standout close to decision

Daniel Robinson of Barstow, Calif. may have already figured out which school he is going to pick before he even takes any official visits.
“My top school is Arizona,” Robinson said. “They were my first offer.”

But Robinson sees more to Arizona than just the Wildcats’ loyalty.
“They pass the ball a lot, and that’s my game. I like to go get it.”
Robinson, who is 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, puts his actions where his words are. In 2001, he made 67 receptions and turned 10 of them into touchdowns.
Oregon State and San Diego State have also offered Robinson a scholarship. Cal and USC have been in contact recently.
He has scheduled two official visits – one to Oregon State on Jan. 4 and the other to Arizona on Jan. 11.
Robinson said he hopes to make a final college decision by mid-January.
