California RB gets Vandalized

Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft three-star all-purpose back Andre Harris is one of the sleeper backs in California and for some reasons Pac 10 teams overlooked him, despite a solid senior and junior seasons.
That didn't stop the Idaho Vandals from making a full-court press.

"I went to Idaho this weekend," Harris, who is 6-foot and 220 pounds, said. "It went real well, and I committed before I left. I just liked the campus. The campus was real nice and the coaches were real cool about having me there. They said I would be playing when I got there. Not starting, but have a good chance to play real early.
"They were the clear decision for me. San Diego State was nice, but Idaho was just the right place for me to be."
Harris said the visit sold him.
"When I got there we went over some academic stuff," he said. "They showed me around campus and we went to a basketball game. We played a little basketball, too, and stuff like that. It was real cool, though. I liked everything they were saying to me."
Harris earned all-league honors as both a junior and a senior.
