San Ramon, Calif. quarterback Sam Keller has narrowed his list to a final five schools.
"We took time over Sam's spring break and visited five schools," Keller's father Mike said. "He and I went to K-State, Michigan, Illinois, Notre Dame and Texas. After those trips, Sam decided he wanted to narrow his list to his final five schools. We are in the process of sending letters to all of the schools that had contacted Sam that are not among the final five schools he is still considering."
Keller's final five schools include K-State, Michigan, Illinois, Notre Dame and Oregon.
"Sam decided no one else could match what those five schools have to offer him in all aspects. He's looking at several items for each school. The academics, the degree meaning something when you're done, having a strong alumni base, the system the team runs and a coaching staff that knows what they are doing will all factor into Sam's choice."
