California LB lining up visits
Long Beach (Calif.) Poly linebacker Tracy Mimms has one official visit set up. Now several schools will be coming by this week to talk to him about visiting their schools.
“I am going to visit San Jose State this weekend (Jan. 16),” the 6-foot, 233-pound Mimms said. “San Diego is calling too. Washington, Idaho and Washington State are supposed to come by this week to see me about visiting. Hopefully those go well.”

Mimms was disappointed in the outcome of his team’s season.
“We lost two games,” he said. “That is what I know I will remember about this year. Everything was good, but we lost two games. I didn’t play the second half of most of the games when we were ahead.”
Simms finished the year with 93 tackles, three quarterback sacks and two interceptions.
