California LB changes school choice

Claremont, Calif., linebacker Isaiah Cook went back and forth over several days, until last night making his decision known to both schools.
“I have decided I am going to go to Oregon State,” the 6-foot-3, 195-pound Cook said. “I just felt it was the place for me to be the next four years.”

Cook had previously committed to Kansas State, but began wavering on the decision by the next morning when he spoke to his high school coach.
“Isaiah told me the next morning he wasn’t sure he had made the right choice,” Claremont coach Mike Collins said.
“I called the Kansas State coaches today,” Cook said. “They said they were expecting that to be my decision. I notified Oregon State last night when they came to my house for an in-home visit.”
