California JC safety making trip
Mt. San Antonio (Calif.) College safety Donte Nicholson is making the first of his four official trips this weekend.
"I'm going to Oklahoma this weekend," the 6-foot-2, 210-pound Nicholson said. "It is really a pretty new development. The coaches and I just kind of finalized things the other day."

While Oklahoma gets the first shot at the former Washington signee, Nicholson has quite a relationship with the current coaching staff and players in Seattle.
"I know all of them up there at UW," Nicholson said. "That would be tough to over come for any school. But I am still open on the whole process. I plan on taking all four of my trips."
Nicholson will trip to Washington (Nov. 20), Southern California (Dec. 6) and Oregon (Dec. 13) in addition to his trip to Norman.
The lure of the Oklahoma program and their defensive style was too much for Pomona, Calif. native.
"The defensive tradition at Oklahoma has me interested in looking more at them. They always have a good defense. That is something that would be nice to be a part of."
