His team’s not doing so hot this season, but he’s turning out to be one of the most highly recruited defensive ends on the West Coast.
Marlon Brisco, who is a 6-foot-4, 225-pound senior at Inglewood’s (Calif.) Morningside High School, has already visited Washington State (Nov. 2) and has trips lined up to Oregon for Nov. 16, Arizona for Dec. 7, Colorado State for Dec. 14 and Fresno State for Jan. 25.
Brisco also likes USC, but the Trojans are the only school of the bunch not to offer a scholarship thus far.
The Cougars made an indelible first impression on his visit to Pullman.
“I loved it up there,” Brisco said of Washington State. “I’ve never been in a winning locker room in college before. It was cool. The players and the fans gave it a great atmosphere.”
Whole Brisco is definitely interested in the Cougars, he’s not ready to say that any team in particular is his favorite.
Brisco has made 20 sacks on the season and reports 4.7-second 40-yard dash speed.
