California athlete adds Utah offer

Lynwood (Calif.) athlete Leilyon Myers is off and running in the recruiting process with a total of three offers out in the open for the top prospect.
Myers, rated as the No. 67 overall prospect in California, previously held Colorado and UCLA offers before receiving a Utah scholarship just after that. Now, with three offers in hand, the 6-foot, 190-pound rising star is staring to pick and choose about his top teams.

"The ones I like the most right now is any school in the Pac-10," Myers said. "I also have to throw LSU in there too. I don't know, it's just something about that school that stands out for me."
Though Big 12 school Colorado is not as close as UCLA, Myers still considers that school close to home. The in-state school is another program that Myers finds intriguing.
"They're a good school," Myers said about UCLA. "Their program is building, they're getting stronger, and there really isn't anything bad about the school."
His decision is probably going to come when he gets a few games under his belt this season.
"Yeah, I'm thinking midseason right now," Myers said about a commitment time. "By then more people will have noticed me and will have seen how I've developed since my junior season."
One thing he wants to find out, after thinking about it, is asking where his parents would like to see him go.
"You know, I haven't really asked them that yet," he said. "That's something I need to find out because that's important to me to hear what they think."
