California ATH moving up charts

Los Angeles Crenshaw defensive back Daymeion Hughes has to be one of the fastest rising corners in the West. And he's starting to get the recruiting attention to prove it.
Hughes, who is 5-foot-11 and 180 pound, has lined up three official visits and has three impressive offers.

"I'm going to visit Oregon on December 6, Arizona on December 13 and Fresno on December 20," Hughes said.
"I have offers from Arizona, Washington and Fresno at this point."
Hughes said he does have a top three of USC, Arizona and Washington.
"I spent about three weeks out in Arizona with my uncle for a vacation before," he said. "I've only been there in the summer, so it'll be neat to see what it's like during the school year. And USC is still USC and Washington still calls me quite a bit."
Hughes has nine interceptions on the season, helping Crenshaw to a 6-3 record and hopefully a CIF playoff berth.
"We have one more game left," he said. "The other teams don't throw my way anymore. I guess they learned the hard way."
