California ATH has BC in top five

Boston College's academic reputation draws recruits from all over the country to Chestnut Hill. The Eagles are in the mix for one of California's finest athletes.
Cornerback / wide receiver Marcus Everett is 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds. He carries a 3.42 grade point average at West Hills (Ca.) Chaminade.

"Boston College is probably in my top five," said Everett. "They're the one school outside of this region that has really shown a lot of interest in me. Their academics are really impressive and they have a long tradition of playing good football."
Who else is Everett interested in?
"Oregon is recruiting me the hardest right now, so they're in my top five too," he said. "I also like UCLA, Washington State and Southern Cal. Those five are pretty much even right now."
Everett has set up four official visits. He'll visit Washington State on Dec. 12, Southern Cal on Dec. 19, Oregon on Jan. 9 and Oregon State on Jan. 16. Does he plan on setting up a fifth official visit?
"I've talked to the Boston College coaches and we've kind of set up a date. I think I'll go to BC on Jan. 26, but that's flexible right now. I plan on making my decision after my take my visits, and since the BC visit will probably be pretty late, it might be close to Signing Day before I announce."
On the year Everett caught nearly 60 passes for 1,000 yards and 13 touchdowns. From his cornerback position he picked off five passes.
