California 4-Star Stay West

Clovis, California receiver Antwuan Smith was leaning to a team a few weeks ago, but has that changed?
“I visited UCLA in December and really loved the visit,” Smith said, “and I may have been leaning to them, but I just got back from my visit to Oregon, and that kind of made things open again.”

Besides UCLA and Oregon, Georgia Tech and Fresno State are also interested in Smith. He has receive offers from all four teams.
“I did have a visit set up to Georgia Tech, but with the coaching change I have to try and get that rescheduled. I also would like to visit Fresno State.”
How would you rate your two visits? “I would give UCLA a nine; I was impressed by their academics, and looking at their depth chart I think I can get some early playing time in there.”
“I would rate my Oregon visit a seven; I loved their facilities and they have been the top team in the conference lately. I rated their visit a little lower, but I still have them even with UCLA.”
Smith did admit distance may play a small part in his decision, which could ultimately tip the scale for a specific school.
