Cali WR sets first two visits

Culver City (Calif.) wide out Damien White is one of the state's top receiver prospects and recently set up his first two official visits. White is coming off a big senior season and will be an absolute steal for one lucky school.
White, 6-0, 170 was part of one of the state's most prolific passing attacks at Culver City this past season. The athlete finished the year with 64 catches for 1,166 yards and 14 touchdowns setting school records for both yards and touchdowns. He added 56 tackles, one interception and a 95 yard kickoff return for a touchdown but we love him on offense for college.

On the recruiting front, White is hearing from a handful of schools but has just one firm offer at this time.
"I'm hearing from UNLV, Toledo, Fresno State and Hawaii," White said. "Toledo has offered me and I have a visit set there for (Jan. 5). I'm also visiting UNLV (Jan. 19). Toledo and Hawaii are probably my top two because they're recruiting me the hardest. I think some of the other schools are just waiting for me to qualify and when my next report card comes out, I will be qualified.
"I really like the Pac 10 a lot and I'm waiting to hear more from Arizona State and Oregon State. Right now, I'm satisfied with where everything is going and like I said, I'm interested to see how things pick up once the schools see that I'm a full qualifier."
