Cali QB will check out the East Coast this weekend

It's a very deep year for quarterbacks in the West region and another player we feel is a Div I level prospect is Dana Hills (Calif.) signal caller Sean Schroeder. The talented lefty is set to visit the East Coast this coming weekend and has a busy spring and summer ahead of him.
Schroeder, 6-2, 170 pounds had a solid junior season completing 126-189 passes (67%) for 1,416 yards and six touchdowns. The signal caller has a smooth, easy delivery, throws a catchable ball and has a very good feel for playing the position.

Schroeder moves around pretty well in the pocket and also has the ability to make plays with his legs when needed. He's solid mechanically and although he doesn't have a huge arm, Schroeder throws a nice deep ball and is very smart and knows where to go with the ball.
On the recruiting front, Schroeder is hearing from a number of schools and will head back East this weekend.
"I'm attending the Air 7 QB Camp at Chapel Hill this weekend," Schroeder said. "While I'm there, I'm going to check out North Carolina, Duke and Wake Forest. I also plan on attending the NIKE Camp and an Elite 11 regional camp as well.
"Some of the schools I'm hearing from right now are Cal, Boise State, Purdue, Connecticut, Duke, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Stanford and Northwestern. I am looking for a school that has strong academics and also runs an offense that fits my skill set. I would look to make an early commitment if the right situation presented itself.
"As for which college camps I'll attend, I'm still looking in to that. I want to make sure the school has a genuine interest in evaluating me before I decide to attend.
