Cali QB sets visit to the SEC
Thousand Oaks (Calif.) quarterback Chris Owens had a somewhat up and down senior season on the field but showed enough promise and potential to get some looks from more than a few Div I colleges.
Owens, 6-2, 210 pounds is an excellent athlete who runs well and could play another position other than quarterback at the next level. On the year, Owens has completed 122-221 passes for 1,717 yards and seven touchdowns.

He didn't have the best supporting cast around him but still was able to make plays with his arm and his feet and has three visits lined up for the next few weeks.
"I go to Kentucky (Nov. 29), Alabama Birmingham (Dec. 5) and Cincinnati (Dec 12.)," Owens said. "All but Kentucky have offered and I'm also looking at Colorado State and San Diego State. I'll decide after my visits."
