Cali QB excited by offer No. 2

Oceanside's (Calif.) quarterback Jordan Wynn received his first scholarship offer from Utah back in late February. Over the weekend, the signal caller received offer No. 2 out of the Big 12.
Wynn, 6-2, 175 pounds led his team to a Div II state title a year ago and is a very talented signal caller. He threw for 2,589 yards and 21 touchdowns to earn all-league, all-county, all-city and second team all-state underclass honors.

"I just got offered by Iowa State," Wynn told us on Sunday. "They had been recruiting me but I still was surprised when they offered, I wasn't expecting it. I just got it in the mail and was very excited about it.
"I'm going to take an unofficial visit there over Spring Break. I was planning to do a Midwest tour and check out a handful of schools and Iowa State is somewhere I definitely plan on seeing. I'm very interested in them and I'm very happy how the recruiting process is going right now."
Wynn is also hearing from Colorado, Purdue, Northwestern and San Diego State, among others. He'll be attending the NIKE Camp at Stanford and Elite 11 workout at Cal in May.
