Cali QB excited about 1st offer

Sacramento (Calif.) Capital Christian quarterback Kramer Hagan just returned from an unofficial visit to Portland State and he didn't leave empty handed. The talented signal caller picked up his first offer and couldn't be happier about it.
Hagan, 6-1, 210 pounds is one of the state's top signal callers and will be a three year starter next season. He threw for 1,720 yards as a sophomore and followed that up by throwing for 2,407 yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior.

"Portland State emailed us and said Kramer was the top quarterback on their board," Hagan's father Scott said. "So we took a visit Tuesday to watch practice and had a great time there.
"We met with Coach Glanville and offensive coordinator Mouse Davis and they decided to offer Kramer in writing. It was very exciting and Kramer is definitely interested in playing there.
"Mouse Davis said he thinks Kramer is a great fit in their run and shoot scheme. Portland State plays a great schedule and will be playing some big time non-conference teams like Oregon, Oregon State, Washington State, Arizona State, Indiana, and Kentucky."
The question now becomes, will Hagan jump on the offer and choose to go through the recruiting process a little longer.
"We're not sure right now," Scott said. "Portland State is a great fit and the only other school Kramer is really interested in is San Jose State. They have offered a JUCO and said they want to see Kramer play as a senior before offering.
"T be able to play for Coach Glanville and Davis and have them so excited, that's very alluring. I know a lot of players pick schools because of the name or prestige and then end up transferring out. We're looking for the best fit for Kramer and Portland State is definitely intriguing right now."
