After an impressive Bowl win Thursday night over Texas A&M, Cal received mnore good news today when they picked up a commitment from one of the top offensive linemen in the West region.

We received an email from Schwartz minutes ago with a simple message;
"I just wanted to let you know I committed to Cal and I'm very excited about it," Schwartz wrote.
We also talked to Schwartz older brother Geoff, a current starting tackle at Oregon who confirmed the commitment.
"Yeah, I think he just wanted to go in a different direction," Geoff said in regards to why he chose Cal rather than his Oregon Ducks. "He's excited about it and I'm happy for him as well."
We'll continue to try and reach Schwartz later on to get more on his thoughts to be a Bear.
