"I feel real excited about Arizona State," Crosthwaite said. "ASU's coach said they can play me earl. I like that because I'm looking for a school where I can get as much early playing time and experience as I can."
Getting offers isn't the only thing that has been keeping Crosthwaite busy this spring.
"I'm going to Oregon's junior day in May," Crosthwaite said. "I already went to Stanford's, USC's, and State's junior days."
"I was invited to one of UCLA's junior day, but I was sick so I couldn't go," Crosthwaite said. " Cal and Arizona also invited me to go their junior days.
"I might go to Princeton and Harvard on unofficial visits in the summer and I'm planning on going to USC, UCLA, and Arizona's practices."
Besides Minnesota and Arizona State, Crosthwaite holds offers from Arizona and San Diego State.
In an earlier interview with Doyle, he had the following things to say about his talented offensive lineman.
"Alex is really good," Doyle said. "When colleges see him on film, they are impressed. He has the long arms you like and when locks on an opponent, he's done."
"Alex is technically sound at both, run and pass blocking," Doyle said. "He is on par with all the great ones I have coached."
In the weight room, Crosthwaite benches 325, squats 425, power cleans 285, hang cleans 260, and power jerks 245.
