Cal will be bringing in some very talented players this weekend when the Bears host UCLA and included in that group is San Francisco (Calif.) St. Ignatius offensive lineman Matt Summers-Gavin.
Summers-Gavin, 6-5, 270 pounds is one of the elite offensive lineman in the west region this year. He plays tackle for St. Ignatius but has the versatility to play anywhere on the line in college including center.
The lineman has already visited Notre Dame and will check out Berkeley this weekend.

"I just recently locked in the visit to Cal," Summers-Gavin said. "I don't have any other visits set right now but I'm looking forward to this trip. Cal was one of the first schools to offer me, they're close to home and they have a very good combination of football and academics so it should be a good time.
"Oregon is very high on my list and I definitely will be visiting there as well. I was originally looking to visit Oregon this weekend actually but I'm going to take the visit to Cal this weekend and will trip to Oregon later in the year. Those are my top three schools right now."
