Cali LB up to three offers

Oxnard (Calif.) Rio Mesa athlete Quentin Greenlaw is one of the top linebacker prospects in the state. He's now up to three scholarship offers and has a handful of schools he's seriously considering.
Greenlaw, 6-0, 195 pounds is one of the most athletic 'backers in the state and could even project as a safety in college. At the NIKE Combine in Oakland, Greenlaw clocked a 4.63-40 and jumped 35 inches in the vertical.

He also shined at the SoCal NIKE Camp in April and has a lot of tools that project well at the next level. Not only can he run but Greenlaw is tough, physical and can hit.
On the recruiting front, Ole Miss was the first school to offer and two others have joined the Rebels.
"Air Force and Washington State have also offered," Greenlaw said. "I'm also hearing from Nevada, San Jose State, Fresno State, Oregon, USC, Washington and a few others.
"I camped at Oregon for their full contact camp and also camped with USC for two days. Oregon was cool and I like them a lot. One of my teammates from last year, Malachi Lewis is at Oregon and were good friends.
"The funny thing is, even though were friends, we've always talked about playing against each other in college. He's always saying he's going to truck me in college and I tell him I'm going to run him over.
"At USC, I pulled my hammy the second day there and was only able to work out one day at the camp. I did well that first day and when we tested, I ran the fastest 40 of all the linebackers so it was disappointing to not be able to work out.
"Right now, I really like Ole Miss a lot. They just had a linebacker drafted in the 1st round and one of the things I'm looking for a in a school is a place where they develop linebackers. I also like San Jose State, Fresno State and Washington State a lot.
"I want to take my trips before I commit anywhere. Along with a place where they produce great linebackers, I want to play for a team that has a chance to win, where the players get along and there is a family atmosphere and where I'm comfortable with the coaches and especially my LB coach."
