Cali LB still waiting

Norco (Calif.) linebacker Damion Whittington took a week off from taking an official visit to play in the SoCal Bowl this past weekend. The athlete will be back on the road this coming weekend and he's still waiting word on whether or not one of his favorites plans to offer.
Whittington, 6-1, 225 pounds is one of the top 'backers in the West this year. He has excellent size, speed and he's always around the ball.

The athlete visited Fresno State a few weeks back and the Bulldogs sit at the top of his list right now.
"I had a great trip, that's my top school right now," Whittington said. "They haven't offered yet, they keep saying they want to wait until they come to the school and see my transcripts.
"I think they're coming by this week and then they should offer. I have my final visit to Utah State this weekend and then I should be ready to make my decision. I'm not going to wait until Signing Day, just whenever I know, I'll go ahead and make it."
